renew: The 9 and 9 5G have now been added to Realme’s EU website. Their launch confirmed that the latter is indeed different from the version sold under the same name in India. It’s actually a 4GB RAM version of the 9 Pro, has the same 120Hz LCD display, albeit with a different 50MP main camera (Samsung ISOCELL JN1), and downgrades its 5,000mAh battery to 18W charging.
SKUs for the Euro 9 5G start at €260 with 64GB of internal storage and are available for pre-order from now. The 4G/LTE-only 9, on the other hand, retains all the specs it originally launched in India (including a 108MP main shooter) and is now priced at €280 for a single 6/128GB configuration.
Of course, the Pad Mini has now also been officially released for the European market, starting at €180.
Source article: The Realme 9 Pro 5G smartphone is currently available on the OEM’s official online store for the European market, as is its Plus variant – and it’s available as a Free Fire Special Edition. Now, their collection is nearing completion, as their regular 5G and non-5G counterparts will join them.
The latter may only support 4G/LTE, but also has a new 108MP main camera sensor from Samsung; so Realme fans in Europe might find it worth buying — hopefully at the right price. On the other hand, the 9 5G is not a phone sold under that name in India.
Instead, it has the same Snapdragon 695 SoC as the 9 Pro, and it also seems to be very similar to this pre-existing phone. However, Realme has yet to comment on its other specs, other than hinting that it could be the cheapest processor phone in Europe when it launches. First, it will be priced below 320 euros (about $335).
Finally, these details will be announced alongside the Realme Pad Mini, which will join its full-size tablet sibling on the EU website. However, the OEM is aiming to keep the configuration and pricing of the Slate secret until its release on May 12, 2022 at 13:00 CET.
Shortly after graduation, I became a professional writer and editor. My degree is in Biomedical Science; however, they have some experience in biotechnology that leads me to believe that it has the potential to revolutionize our health, environment and life. Over time, this developed into an all-around interest in more aspects of technology: I could never finish writing about the latest electronics, gadgets, and innovations. My other interests include imaging, astronomy and streaming. Oh, and coffee.
