design

The new Realme Pad X has a solid exterior with a matte back and a smudge-free finish. The new Relame Pad X is designed with a thin and light body, which is light in weight, easy to handle and carry without causing any pressure on the hand. Realme’s new Pad X is available in two colors: Glacier Blue and Glow Gray. Talking about the location of the buttons, when held vertically, you can find the power button on the top, the volume rocker on the right, and the SIM card tray on the left. You’ll also find four speaker sockets, two on the top and two on the bottom, as well as a Type-C port. When viewed horizontally, the selfie camera sensor can be found at the top center of the Pad. On the back of the pad is an AI-enabled camera sensor in a rectangular frame.

exhibit

The Realme Pad X features a 10.9-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2K (2000x1200px) and a brightness of 450 nits. The screen-to-body ratio of the Pad is 84.6%. Working on the screen is very comfortable as you can edit any document and work with them easily. Brightness levels are also decent, making the cushion comfortable to use even in bright sunlight. Color reproducibility is also important, with 16.7 million colors embedded. Color reproduction is bright and punchy, and we love watching movies on the screen. Dolby-enabled quad speakers enhance the viewing experience. The display also comes with a reading mode to help readers read books comfortably as the blue illuminated screen provides eye comfort and protection.

camera

The new Realme Pad X has a 13MP main camera. The camera is certainly not designed to click on very detailed images, nor is it designed for that purpose. The camera captures decent images with good detail. The camera also offers the ability to transcribe text using the text scanner function. The camera sensor placed on the front is an 8MP camera with a 105-degree field of view.

The selfie sensor is also well done, as you can click some decent selfies, and it’s good for video calling too.

To simplify the video calling experience, the new Realme Pad X comes with a feature called Limelight, which runs on machine learning algorithms to track the location and movement of one or more people in real-time through its wide-angle camera. During video calls and meetings, the Limelight feature keeps you in the center of the picture. We tested this feature and the results were very impressive.

User Interface

The Realme Pad X ships with Realme UI 3.0 for Pad and is the first Realme tablet to run this version of the software. The Realme Pad X is the first Realme tablet to support multi-screen collaboration, allowing smartphone users to cast their phone screen onto the Pad X to copy text and transfer files.

processor

The new Realme Pad X is powered by the Snapdragon 695 5G processor and has two flagship A78 cores that can go up to 2.2GHz performance. A budget processor is one of the most powerful. Tasks performed are handled smoothly by the processor, such as video calling, reading, or playing games. This processor isn’t designed for heavy duty, and in fact it’s not even designed for it. The unit we’re reviewing comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of ROM. The RAM configuration helps the processor very well.

Battery

The new Realme Pad X comes with an 8,340mAh battery. If you indulge in ordinary use, the battery power will keep you operating easily throughout the day, but if you use it heavily, you will need to put the tab back on to charge it at least once. For charging, it has 33W Dart Charge, which is not very fast but works well.

in conclusion

The launch of the new Realme Pad X has made competition from other companies tough and reminded them to upgrade. The tab comes with 13-band 5G support, ensuring you won’t have to switch devices when 5G services roll out in India, making it worth the investment. Smart features also add a benefit that any user would prefer when looking for a balanced tab.
