Realme certifies its late 2022 flagship smartphone powered by Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 with 100W charging via TENAA | Tech Rasta

Realme is an OEM that thinks there’s a good chance the new flagship smartphone will replace the existing GT2 Pro with Qualcomm’s iterative Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 (or 8+ Gen 1) processor upgrade. Now, the device in question may appear in live images for the first time.

The photos are available in the new TENAA database entry for the Realme RMX3551. According to reports, the model number also appeared in the records of AnTuTu Benchmark. Its ability to score over 1,000,000 on this platform is likely due to the 3.2GHz spec found in its latest leak – which also happens to be the 8+ Gen 1’s top clock.

This has led to predictions that the phone will debut as the GT2 Explorer Master Edition, with a second-generation custom finish designed by the OEM’s art partner Naoto Fukasawa – an impression that could be compounded by a new official color choice much like the GT2.

TENAA also now says that its GT Neo 3-esque camera hump will house a 50+50+2MP camera array, a 6.7-inch FHD+ display, and a “2,440mAh” battery, a spec that will likely double Realme’s typical dual-battery system .

In this regard, the upcoming “Explorer Master Edition” is said to now feature 100W UltraDart charging technology, which will be an upgrade from the 80W standard found in current flagships. On the other hand, Realme has not done anything to confirm this new speculation.
