Realme 9i 5G release date revealed: what to expect | Tech Rasta


Chinese smartphone brand Realme is about to launch its Realme 9i 5G. Realme’s upcoming phone will launch on August 18. Realme recently posted a teaser on Twitter and dubbed the upcoming phone a “5G Rockstar.”

Realme has teased the upcoming Realme 9i 5G via Twitter. The upcoming Realme phone will be announced on August 18, 2022 at 12:30 pm. The device will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G chipset, powered by a massive battery and triple rear camera setup.

The Realme 9i 5G is a variant of the Realme 9i that was launched in January this year. Meanwhile, the Realme 9i is priced at Rs. The base version is 13,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage version. Another variant of the phone with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at Rs. 15,999. It is available in Prism Black and Prism Blue colors. The Realme smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 680 SoC and hovers over a triple rear camera setup. The device runs on Android 11 with Realme UI 2.0 and has a 6.6-inch FHD+ display.

In terms of connectivity, realme 9i supports 4G LTE, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS, USB Type-C, and 3.5mm headphone jack. The smartphone supports 33W Dart Charge fast charging.

Meanwhile, the Realme C30 goes on sale today. The smartphone will be available on Flipkart at 12 noon. The phone is an entry-level phone with a starting price of Rs. 6,749. As part of the sale, buyers can pick up the Realme C30 at an offer of Rs. 5,999. Offers include discounts for ICICI Bank customers and up to Rs. 750% off for Airtel customers.

The Realme C30 is available in two RAM variants. The base variant packs 2GB RAM and 32GB storage and is priced at Rs. 6,749. The other model comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. It can be purchased in Rs. 7,549.

The Realme C30 features a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD screen with a resolution of 1600×720 pixels. The phone has a refresh rate of 60Hz, an aspect ratio of 20:9, and a screen-to-body ratio of 88.70%.
