Expo City Dubai launches Fifa World Cup fans | Tech Rasta

Expo City Dubai has launched a huge fan base where fans can watch all the matches in the upcoming Fifa World Cup.

The world’s oldest arena will serve up to 12,500 spectators in two zones, organizers said on Wednesday.

From the start of the tournament on Sunday, 20 November, City Fans at Jubilee Park will hold 10,000 spectators, with a Budweiser tent and a shisha lounge with large television screens.

Jubilee Park will be open from 5pm to 1.30pm on weekdays, and noon-to 1.30pm on weekends.

Access costs Dh30.

Starting with the second round of qualifying from Saturday, 3 December fans can attend the VIP visitor experience projector at Al Wasl Plaza.

Four super-sized screens will show the match live, supplemented by in-game images shown on the Al Wasl dome’s big screen.

Al Wasl can seat up to 2,500 guests, with general admission, VIP hospitality packages and VVIP box seating on offer. Hospitality guests will also receive a one-day Expo City Dubai Attraction Pass valid until 31 December 2022.
