Cowgirl Tennis Releases Spring 2023 Schedule | Tech Rasta

STILL WATER –The Oklahoma State women’s tennis team announced its spring schedule for the 2023 season on Tuesday. The tough list includes the 2022 NCAA champion and runners-up Texas and Oklahoma, respectively.

The Cowgirls will kick off the season at the Freeman Memorial Invite in Las Vegas, Jan. 13-15, before officially opening the season Jan. 21 in Tulsa.

The road swing continues as OSU travels to Ohio State on Feb. 2 and then to Michigan on Feb. 4. As part of the ITA National Team Indoor Championships, the Cowgirls will travel to Seattle to compete Feb. 9-13.

Oklahoma State will host for the first time in the spring when they face off in a doubleheader Feb. 25 against South Carolina and Wichita State.

After their matches at the Greenwood Tennis Center, the Cowgirls will hit the road again as they travel to Santa Barbara, Calif., to take on UC Santa Barbara on March 3. On March 5, OSU will travel to Malibu, Calif., for a contest. against Pepperdine.

Oklahoma State will begin conference play in Austin to face defending national champions Texas on March 10 before heading to Baylor on March 12.

The Cowgirls will return to Stillwater for a four-game home stand starting at Texas Tech on March 17 and TCU on March 19. Iowa State and West Virginia are each scheduled to visit the Greenwood Tennis Center, March 31 and April 2, respectively as OSU wraps up the home game for the season.

The Cowgirls travel to Norman on April 7 for the first Bedlam game of the season with Oklahoma before heading to Kansas on April 14. The Pokes will end the regular season on April 16 with a game against Kansas State in Manhattan.

Post-season action begins with the Big 12 Championships in Lawrence from April 20-23. Two weeks later, Oklahoma State will begin the battle for the 2023 NCAA title in rounds one and two, May 5-7, super regionals May 12-13, and then the tag team championships in Orlando May 18-21. may.

The Cowgirls will close out the 2022-23 season in Orlando May 22-28 at the NCAA Individual Championships.
